On April 12 at 11:41 p.m., the Norman Police Department was dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at a residence in the 2900 block of Oak Tree Avenue. The victim stated that two black males entered his apartment and pointed semi-automatic handguns at him and his roommate. The two suspects then stole cash and drugs from the residence before leaving on foot. No one was injured during the incident. One of the suspects concealed his identity with a mask and gloves. The second suspect did not conceal his identity and was later identified by one of the victims as 19-year-old Parrish Cobb.

Video surveillance from the apartment complex showed that a white Ford Mustang arrived in the parking lot at 11 p.m. At 11:21 p.m., two subjects exited the vehicle wearing dark-colored hoodies. Five minutes later, the same two subjects
ran back to the white Ford Mustang and left the parking lot. At approximately 3:30 a.m. today, an officer located a Ford Mustang matching the description of the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2700 block of W. Imhoff Road. Just down from this vehicle was a white Chrysler that was registered to a subject by the last name of Cobb. The rear passenger side window of the Chrysler was rolled all the way down and clearly visible inside was a box for a semi-automatic BB gun pistol. Search warrants were secured for the two vehicles.

Officers then began working to make contact with the subject who the vehicle is registered to in the apartment complex. Just before 9 a.m., officers located Parrish Cobb inside an apartment in the 2700 block of W. Imhoff Road. Cobb was arrested and transported to the Norman Investigations Center. While being interviewed by investigators, Cobb admitted to driving the white Ford Mustang to the residence in the 2900 block of Oak Tree Avenue with an unknown accomplice with the intent to rob the occupants of their drugs. Cobb stated that they did not locate any drugs but did take cash from the two occupants before leaving the apartment. Cobb admitted that he then went back to the apartment on Imhoff Road where he placed the BB gun in his Chrysler four-door vehicle.

Parrish Cobb (DOB: 10-6-1997) was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

The identity of the second suspect is still unknown. The incident remains under investigation.
