UPDATE: NPD Identifies Victim in Twisted Oaks Drive Homicide

The victim found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1800 block of Twisted Oaks Drive has been identified as 33-year-old Tiffany Godwin.

Norman investigators are still working to locate 30-year-old Charles Curtis “Kurt” Hornback. An arrest warrant was issued for Hornback for Murder in the First Degree this afternoon. An arrest warrant for Murder in First Degree (Accessory) has also been issued for 29-year-old Ashlee Nicole Vasquez. Both warrants have a bond of $1 million. Both Hornback and Vasquez are wanted in connection with the death of Godwin which is now being investigated as a homicide.

 

INITIAL RELEASE: NPD Investigates Suspicious Death on Twisted Oaks Drive 

The Norman Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Twisted Oaks Drive at approximately 8:29 a.m. on August 26 in reference to a welfare check. Once on scene, officers located a deceased adult female inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators are asking for the public's help to locate 30-year-old Charles Curtis "Kurt" Hornback. Hornback is a person of interest and is wanted for questioning in connection with the suspicious death. Hornback is described as a white male, 6 feet 5 inches tall, 250 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. Hornback is believed to be armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach this individual, call 911 immediately.

Identification of the victim is pending proper notifications. The incident remains under investigation.
